Day 16. A Bit Of Fun

I recently discovered image stacking. When you're shooting macro pics, the depth of field is usually very tight. To put it another way, the area in your pic that is in focus is very small. By using image stacking, you can combine several pictures, focused at different points, to create an image that has lots more stuff in focus. I'll post some pictures like that in the near future.

The software that allows you to do this is great, but what they don't tell you is, you can have a bit of fun with it. You can do a bit of cloning too.

If you want to create images like this, look up Zerene Stacker.

Taken with the S3 Pro and Tamron 18-200mm lens.
