Day 14. Earth Day

I'm lucky enough in my job to start, some mornings, by the water. From a photography point of view, this is a perfect opportunity if I have the time, to take some really great pictures, even if they are with the iPhone. While getting ready to start this morning I mentioned to Paul, a fellow driver and photographer, that the lack of clouds was going to make for some pretty boring pictures.
I had a few minutes to spare before I started my run, so I took a couple of pics of the water, complete with reflections of the sun, and lens flare, then turned my phone around and photographed the trees beside me. Well, it turned out Paul had taken the same sort of pics of the water, only from a different, but similar, location.
When I got home and logged onto Facebook, there were all sorts of things about Earth Day and posts telling me to hug a tree. Well, I didn't hug a tree today, but I did pay a lot of attention to the fruit trees in our back yard, and here's the tree pic I took at Vicky Point.

Taken with the iPhone 4S. The choice of bus drivers who can't be bothered to upgrade.
