Day 5. A Wider View

My previous posts so far have been a bit macro, as in, they're mostly closeups. I had the afternoon off today, so Madonna and I went for a walk at nearby Wellington Point.

I had to do a bit of touching up of this one, since my camera is in serious need of a sensor clean. There's still a mark on this image that I nearly removed, until I realised it was a Qantas Dash 8, taking off from Brisbane International Airport.

The people in this picture are standing on a sand bar that connects King Island to the mainland. Most days you can walk out to the island at low tide, something that a lot of people do. I paddled a kayak out there once, at high tide. It was very quiet.
