Day 1. A Work in Progress.

I've always been fascinated by the intricacy of watches, but it's only recently that I've started collecting old ones and fixing them up. Most of my collection are Soviet era watches, but this is a nice example of a Bulova Oceanographer, circa 1972. Bulova are an American company famous for their Accutron line of watches. The Accutrons were pretty much the fore-runners of quartz watches, using an electronic tuning fork to keep time. They hum rather than tick. There's one in my collection as well.
